hooray. mastoiditis. inflammation of the mastoid bone. great. we went to the emergency room on doctor's recommendation last night and so the boy has drugs and such. another doctor trip today. the boy though woke up this morning, watched JoJo's Circus and said i love you to me out loud. and even if my wife thinks he was saying rolie polie olie is no big deal. being a dad is something tres bien for me. this is what i do best i think in my life. or maybe it's one of those deep seated issues that i am dealing with regard to my own father, who admittedly wasn't really a dad, at least not in the Tom Bosley, Bill Cosby, Alan Thicke sense. bah. it makes me feel great to do dad things. not too many things make me feel great. and with that, it's time to administer some antibiotics and suppositories and other dad type things... mastoiditis. good grief...
