got up at 1:30AM with my son and we watched TV. nothing is better than watching SportsCenter with your son if you're a father and watching your boy go nuts over hoops highlights. besides i had to roll in early for work for this stupid software rollout. the one where the lame project manager isn't suffering enough IMHO for his great bonus. yes, i know i'm not supposed to wish suffering on others, but at the same time, i do not believe a company should reward for effort. results, dammit. not effort. this project manager in question has been a lazy ass. i do not know even why i am at work. i should just let whatever breaks simply fail and allow the project and its folks to get more egg on their faces. but the results of this project has been so riddled with political BS and poor planning and failure that everyone and anyone associated with it is already a walking omelet. ugh. it is so not worth talking about it. the company has already cut the checks for the people involved. the people working on it are supposed to have been the best of the best and i guess were supposed to deserve their reward. bleah. why the fuck am i here at the crack of dawn? no amount of name-calling or whining or cheezing will change the fact that extra money over this effort is not in my hands. game over, time to move on.
